DJ Drama made significant steps to end the long time beef between himself, Gucci Mane, and Young Jeezy on his radio show last night. The popular DJ had Jeezy on as a guest, but had a surprise caller in Gucci Mane.
Gucci Mane and and Jeezy have had beef for about five years now stemming from 2005. Both rappers released dis tracks toward each other and Gucci Mane even killed a Corporate Thugs Entertainment affiliate in a case that was determined to be self- defense.
DJ Drama and Jeezy also have had a turbulent relationship after Drama added Gucci on his 2008 Gangsta Grillz mixtape. Jeezy saw the addition as an act of treason and said that the Atlanta based DJ's decision was an act of treason against him.
Jeezy, who seem shocked by the phone call half heartedly agreed that the beef must end, while Gucci seemed enthusiastic to put the drama behind them.
"I'm 100% down with it. You know I'm ten toes forward. I"m with it and I think it's a great idea and that's what I'm fittin' to do. I hope everybody is ready 'cause it's back on."
Gucci Mane placed the call from jail where he's currently being incarcerated for a probation violation.
