How much does it cost to have  a page on BeatDynasty.com?

If your profile is a standard one the cost is zero. A standard profile allows the same functionality as any, but you are limited to 40mb of upload space.  If you require more upload space, it is available at a subscription  rates outlined in the "Beat Suite" at the bottom of the page.

Does BeatDynasty.com Charge money to list items?

No, however if an item is sold, a small commission fee is charged to the seller and a small transaction fee is charged to the buyer. BeatDynasty.com will subtract 20% of the total sale amount and you  as the sell will recieve  80 percent.

How does the pay system function?

The pay system is all routed through Paypal.com.  If you sell a digital item, an automatic 20% of your sale will go to BeatDynasty.com. If you sell a physical item, the full payment will be routed to BeatDynasty.com and then we will paypal the 80% to your paypal.com account.  This is to protect the buyer and seller in the case of damaged items, or items not delivered.


Do you have to have a Paypal account to utilize BeatDynasty?

Items posted on BeatDynasty.com are open for public and community viewing. It is possible to complete a transaction outside of the website, but not recommended. PayPal.com offers buyer protection that a one on one transaction cannot provide. In order to complete a credit transaction through BeatDynasty.com, you must have a account with Paypal.com.

How do I upload a "song?"

To upload a song, visit your control panel and look at the sections to the left. Under the section "Songs," click "Create song" and complete the appropriate sections.  After completing the sections, browse and choose your audio file. You can decide if you want other members to be able do download it or not as well as Hifi or LoFi formatting. After uploading the beat, you can also select an image for it

How do I protect myself against copyright infringement by using BeatDynasty.com?

The best way is to copyright all the material you submit. Beat Dynasty assumes no responsibility for violations and that is totally between yourself and the alleged infringer.  You can add "Beat Tags" to your music as well if you see fit. What is the difference between a "Store" and a "Vault" item?

An item in the "Store" refers to a physical item. For example if you are selling a used keyboard, that would appear in the Store with a picture and description. A "Vault" item is anything for sale in digital format. For example, if you are selling a mp3, track session, photographs, video, or pdf file, that would be uploaded in the "Vault" section.


How do I list an item for sale?

 Listing an item for sale requires you to visit your control panel by logging in.  On the left hand side of your control panel you will notice several categories. The sections entitled "Store," "Vault," and "Calendar," can all entail listing an item for sale. In the store you must click "Create item" and complete the required information about the particular item. For "Vault" you must click "Create Item," complete the proper categories, and upload the item that you are selling.  In the "Calendar" section, if you click "Create Event" you must fill out appropriate slots as well as upload a file such as a ticket to the event that you are promoting.


How do I start my profile on BeatDynasty.com?

 The process to create a profile is very easy. Just click "Create a Member or Artist account" and proceed to answer  all of the questions asked. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions ( please read them). You will then be sent an email to confirm your account. Once confirmed, you must choose a "Site Theme" to determine the look of your Beat Suite space. Once you determine the theme, you can upload songs to your page as well as blogs, or videos. You may also create a store or Vault ( digital store) as well.

 How do I maximize my upload space on BeatDynasty.com?

Free acccounts are only given 40mb of upload space. The way to maximize that space is to create snippets of songs you want to display or sell. The snippets should probably be between one to two minutes per song. This will not only provide an accurate listen to the buyer, but it will also only use approximately 2 or 3mb of upload space.

 I have trouble logging into my account. How do I get help?

 First thing to do is check your login password. I know this sounds elementary, however, logins are case sensitive and if typed in a different case, it will not login. If you do not know your passcode, indicate that and a new one will be emailed to you.
