Hey Don-
I like where your going with these songs. One thing i noticed is that is sounds like you are using 100% strength on all your quantize. I personally think it sounds better and gives it a more human feel using different strengths. But thats just me, obviously you have a bit more experience in the industry. If you got a minute check out my songs and leave some feedback if you can. ive been trying to get some constructive critisicm. Thanks -Alex
I'd say this reminds me of that 99 problems joint by jay-z except a more upbeat kinda feel. its more clubbish than 99 problems and i'd have to agree wit sirwilliam turn the sleigh down just a teeny bit not much but everything else is bangin...good work
It's a nice flip, although I have heard this sampled flipped (i just cant remember what artist rapped on it). But nice job with making it your own, nice drum work too.
This is on some NYC stuff. It's nice. Bring up that bassline a lil. U gotta listen a lil too hard for it. Also, the tom roll is kewl, but over-used. This is another nice joint man, just needs a lil clean up.
Nice lil chill track, I gotta say that ur hook doesnt stand out, cuz it goes from 1 pattern into the other pattern with the "ooh"s in it. So the distinction on the hook and verse could use some work, but I like it, tighten that up, and ur set
First thing I thought of when this beat dropped was Mortal Kombat. It'd make a good vid game track, or maybe a wu-tang joint, cuz them dudes be gettin stupid on the beats. lol, nice joint tho man
Ok, first thing, nice beat...it's real somber and reflective. I could see Chris Brown on this, or Rihanna...add some instruments to set that hook apart from the rest of the track, overall nice joint folk.
As producer and as a fan i can say this is the hottest track that ive heard on here in awhile. This is an amazing piece i cant descride what stood out in it because its just that good
Crazy drums fam...this would have to be the hype joint on an artist album, cuz when it comes it catches your attention, and QUICK! I'm not too crazy bout the samples for that lil breakdown/hook part, but ur verses are on point.
