For those who don't know who Wendy Day is...google her. She's a industry guru, and knows about every possible topic as far as the inner workings of the music industry. She is NOT a producer...but she knows about things such as contract negotiations, building a brand, and how to get your track heard by major labels.

There's been a lot of talk in here. Who's hot and who's not. Who has more to offer beat wise. It's all good. The Dude Problem Child is calling everyone out in the community. Now is the time to put up or shut up. We started running the Beat Melee on AllHipHop.com. We did it for three months and had fantastic competition. Now is the time to run our beat battles on BeatDynasty.com. If you're interested in competing, send emails to BeatDynasty@gmail.com.

Rules are below:

1. Beat battles will be run once per week, every Monday.

2. We will accept 3 beats at a time

3. Beats should run no longer than 2 minutes

4. Provide a variety of tracks for people to vote on

5. Beats will be posted in the Features portion of the site.

6. Votes will be tallied based on user and visitor comments.

For the first competition we will take the first two submissions, and battle them and so on. The purpose of BeatDynasty.com is to bring us all together in unity. A beat battle is a friendly display of our hard work.

1. If you signed up as a "MEMBER" and want to have an ARTIST account, please send your inquiry to Jay@Beatdynasty.com. Please include your username and email address and you will be switched over automatically.

2. If you read the interview with Anthony "Big Amp" Parker, he offers BeatDynasty.com users the opportunity to submit tracks for artists that he's working with in the industry. Please take advantage of this opportunity as we are trying to provide an avenue for our members to get into the industry legitimately. Submit the tracks to the email stated with the following information

Please try to limit submission to at least five tracks.

3. Lastly, we will be starting a section on our site strictly for BeatDynasty.com users to display their material. The Most Common Sign up Mistake

If you are unable to upload your music to your page, you probably signed up for a Member account. You'll need an Artist account. To rectify this problem, send an email to Jay@Beatdynasty.com or BeatDynasty@gmail.com with your username and email address. You will be switched from a Member to and Artist.

Welcome to Beat Dynasty!

Thank you for checking out the Beat Suite! This is the place to be if you want to sell and promote your music.

The Beat Suite is not limited to just selling beats, you can sell any digital item in your "Vault" section as well as any physical item in your "Store" section. You can also promote and sell e-tickets to events.

Once you create your account, be sure to go to your email address and click the verification link. Once you verify your account and log in to your Control Panel follow the following steps.

1. Look at the Left hand Control panel

2. Click on "Site Themes"

3. Click the "Rebuild " button

4. View your site

5. Make any changes to your site by clicking the middle link to update your profile, or using the control panel links to create songs. vault item, and stores items.

Thanks to all the new users that have signed up on BeatDynasty.com. We want to make setting up your profiles as easy as possible so you can benefit from it. Just a few pointers below

1. Most of you do not have stores. That is ok, but you can create a store item which means a physical item you want to offer for sale to the community. You can also sell a "Vault" item by creating a Vault item in your control panel. A vault Item is any digital items ( music, picture, video, pdf) or file that you wish to sell. When you create a new song, it gives you the option to create a vault item of that song by uploading the same MP3 to your store or vault.

2. If you signed up for a "Member account" and intended on an "Artist" account, please send me a Private message and I will switch you over to a Artist account. Member accounts are limited in upload space and capabilities such as selling your music and creating podcasts.

3. It's a lot, but if you have any questions check our FAQ sheet which you can find on the homepage. Also if your answer is not provided there, send me an message and I will get you the answer asap.
